Based at San Carlos Airport, Flying 12 Club brings pilots together through friendship, shared experiences, and access to a well-maintained aircraft at an affordable cost.

Our club has partnered with EAA Chapter 20’s Young Eagles program to offer free flights for young people ages 8–17. N962TF has also made the journey to EAA AirVenture in Oshkosh.
04 / OUR STORY
Before there was a flying club, there was a group of people building an airplane.
Flying 12 grew out of EAA Chapter 20’s RV-12 project at San Carlos. Experienced mentors and young aviators worked side by side, learning new skills and creating a community along the way. The build team formed Flying 12 Club to own and fly the aircraft.

THE BUILD
A tail kit brought volunteers together. Almost four years of work turned boxes of parts into a flying RV-12.
