Flying 12 Club is a community of pilots who share N962TF, a Van’s RV-12iS based at San Carlos Airport. We value sound judgment, care for our airplane, and members who contribute to the life of the club.

Applicants must hold at least a Sport Pilot Certificate. We are not currently accepting student pilots.

Safety comes first

We put safety above convenience, cost, schedules, and pressure to fly. We expect members to maintain proficiency, respect personal and aircraft limits, make conservative go/no-go decisions, report problems promptly, and welcome constructive feedback. Tell us how you put these values into practice.

Everyone contributes

Membership involves more than booking an airplane. Members are expected to share responsibilities such as aircraft care, organizing maintenance, club administration, events, and helping one another. Tell us what you would like to contribute and how you envision taking an active role.

These are reference estimates, not a quote or payment request. The club will confirm current amounts, what they include, and applicable membership terms before you commit.

What happens after you apply?

1. Current members review your application and arrange an interview.
2. After the interview, candidates invited to continue pay a non-refundable deposit to demonstrate a serious commitment. The amount and terms are confirmed by the club before payment.
3. The candidate then joins the waitlist. Applying, interviewing, or joining the waitlist does not guarantee a membership opening or acceptance.
